Phase Forward has an exciting and innovative internship program for students pursuing degrees in Computer Science and related fields. As a software engineering intern, the work that you perform will have a direct impact on the products delivered by Phase Forward.
 
The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to operate in a challenging and fast paced environment. All interns are provided with a mentor to assist them in learning and applying technologies to assigned projects.

Responsibilities:
The Phase Forward Development Team is looking for energetic software engineer interns to assist in the delivery of Phase Forward products through IT, development and testing activities within the core engineering team, including:
. Development of web, smart client, and distributed sever applications using C#, C++, COM+, JavaScript, Web Services, and Software Design Patterns
. Improve and extend our integration with Cognos BI, create and enhance business intelligence reports and/or data models, and develop performance testing tools within a JavaScript, C#, Web Services, and Oracle Database environment
. Test automation, performance monitoring and assessment of Phase Forward products using industry standard tools such as Quick Test Pro and WinRunner
. Lab environment setup (Oracle, VMWare, and physical servers), configuration, performance monitoring, reservation, and configuration system management, security access and backups
 
Requirements:
. Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or related filed
. Excellent understanding and ability to apply complex data structures
. Extreme attention to detail
. Understanding of SQL, C#, Java, JavaScript, and/or C++
. Familiarity with Software Design Patterns
. The ability to write automation code for subsystems using shared components and frameworks
. Excellent oral and written communication skills
